Important Note: For Shraddha Karma, Birth & death etc, oiling the body, sexual intercourse, take the Tithi existing at that time and not which was current at the time of Sunrise. Tithi which is current at Sunrise - should be taken for daan (charities), learning, vrat, Deva Karma, marriage, Prana Pratishtha, and for all auspicous occasion. A Tithi that extends upto or beyond Sunset is called Akhanda - Full - And Tithi being short of Sunset is called Khanda (broken)

Very important Note for the devotees of Lord Swaminaryan - Hence for Hari Jayanti and Hari Navami should be celebrated when the Tithi is current at 10.10pm in the night and not necessary one which is present at Sunrise
